Approximately 30 teachers from public and private schools across the Cayman Islands were involved in training for the SMART Interactive Whiteboards placed in several governement classrooms and purchased by several other private schools on the island. The training was facilitated by Laura Johnston of Cayman Business Machines, and Rudolph Nemai from SMART Technologies in Canada delivered the instruction to the participants.
In the photo above, Rudolph and the teachers take a moment while at the board to pose for a picture. These teachers will return to their respective schools and share the information from the workshop with their colleagues to ensure that everyone is up to speed with this innovative technology. Now that seems very smart! (MR)
