If you want to see the future of education, you’re in the right spot.
In 2005 the Cayman Islands made an unprecedented pledge to bring about much needed transformation of their education system. Leveraging the advantages of a small population and thriving economy the changes have been far-reaching on a scale that other countries find difficult to rival. Driven by a committed government and some of the most brilliant minds on the international scene, the Cayman Islands are not only embracing but increasingly leading cutting edge developments in technology, facilities, human capital development and teaching and learning styles. The world is watching this one, so leave your comments, link to the site and get in touch if you want to know more. Year 6 students at North Side Primary School went to a herpetology camp in St Petersburg, Florida last week.

The 5 day educational experience was held at the Boyd Hill Nature Reserve and the children were taught by George Heinrich, a Field Biologist of Heinrich Ecological services (http://www.heinrichecologicalservices.com/).
